Utah Clean Water Partnership includes citizens, organizations, and agencies who work together to maintain and restore the quality of Utah's waters.
The Utah Water Quality Task Force leads this effort. Its mission is to protect and restore Utah's surface and ground waters from the impacts of nonpoint source pollution through coordinated and holistic management of Utah's watersheds.
The Task Force's actions and functions are informed by the following core values:
The Watershed Protection Section of the UDWQ is administered by scientists who work with specific watersheds in Utah to identify possible water quality problems and to help protect and restore clean waters.
The UDAF is specifically tasked with managing and implementing efforts that reduce nonpoint source pollution from agricultural sources.
Watershed Coordinators are located within individual watersheds. The coordinators are the "boots on the ground," assisting private landowners in project development, funding, and implementation.
